What is “Better TANTEX”?

“Better TANTEX” is an independent and progressive group formed by the members of Telugu Association of North Texas (TANTEX).

Why is this group formed?

TANTEX has been doing a decent job of serving the Telugu community through various activities and events over the past three decades. In the last one decade there is a huge shift in the demographics of NRI Telugu population in DFW area. We feel that TANTEX needs our new blood and energy to be in synchronization with the diversity of its members and their disparate needs.

Do you mean current TANTEX is a poor performer?

NO sir! We salute the founders and the pioneers who have found, nurtured and built this great organization.

As time passes by many organizations become rigid and start functioning for themselves- in that process they become ‘exclusive’ and become a little bit reluctant in being accountable and responsible to the members of the organizations. You may be observing the same with TANTEX also. We would like you all to support TANTEX in retaining its original glory and achieving further fame.

Are you against any group or individuals?

Absolutely NO! We support any individual or a group of persons that strive for the betterment of TANTEX. We are not fighting against anybody and everybody that loves TANTEX and supports the Telugu community in DFW is our friend !
